A grand stone fireplace in the living room anchors the first floor, while the large screened porch brings the outside in. The guesthouse was built in 2009, with posts and beams from a barn that was taken down in Pennsylvania. Primitive modern, the structure has local wood siding and high R-value windows, while the envelope features structural insulated panels (SIP) in the walls and roof. The first floor is home to a one-car garage, full bathroom and laundry. The second floor houses the living quarters, with two bedrooms, each with private en suite bathrooms.
