Maison Orleans, a 30-acre development nestled in the heart of North Monroe, was transformed from a once wooded area. The construction of this exclusive neighborhood involved the use of over 500, 000 bricks to create a protective perimeter wall. Commencing in 2005, the development project began with the meticulous clearing of the property. Notably, the centerpiece fountain was handpicked from Guangzhou, China, also known as Canton China. The road construction incorporated pavers made from robust 8500 PSI concrete. This privately owned community boasts a state-of-the-art high-speed camera security system capable of reading license plates at speeds of up to 80 mph. With a commitment to pioneering technology, Maison Orleans aims to become the first high-tech gated community in Ouachita Parish, enhancing residents' sense of safety and security. Additionally, the neighborhood features two separate sprinkler systems equipped with over 1100 sprinkler heads to ensure the lush greenery remains beautiful throughout the year.
