Redesigned in 2010 by architects Smith and Vansant, this south-facing home optimizes passive solar design and photovoltaic generation, nearing net-zero energy with 37 PV panels. The Finnish Tulikivi Soapstone wood stove provides gentle heat, complemented by mini-split heat pumps for year-round comfort. The airy atmosphere is achieved through the open floor plan and natural light. The main level includes a full bath and study, while the upper levels offer flexible bedroom arrangements.
