This large 7875 sq ft building with three levels, is located close to Western Illinois University. Previously used as a fraternity house with 19 rooms, but for the last two years Master Level Foreign Students attending WIU, have rented rooms in the house and has been reclassified as a "Boarding House", by the city of Macomb. The whole house has been furnished, even the kitchen was decked out for tenants usage. Each bedroom has either a queen or twin size bed, dresser, bed side stand, desk or table, chair, mini-refrigerators, and microwave. The living room on the main level, has a tall table with matching four chairs, two couches and a matching chair, for a comfortable area for studying or socializing and an adjacent three quarter (3/4) bathroom and one half (1/2) bath. The lower level, also has a dining room table for six, two leatherette couches, and a couple of futons with an adjoining kitchen, laundry room with each having a tall table with matching 4 chairs. The basement level, has one (1) full bathroom for 3 room tenants to share. The top floor plans could be changed the eleven (11) rooms into two (2) large private rooms with each having a private full Bathroom, and adding a half bath with the other bathroom that 4 other rooms can share, leaving one or two rooms that could be made into a kitchenette so these upstairs tenant do not have to go to lower floor to cook. These planned additions will change the vacancy rate to practically 0, and increase the income.
